Me pieces 29.9/30, scale 30/30, aural 23/30, sight reading -1

Great piece, what is it? technically there's a wrong note in the audio, in beat 3 of bar 5 there's a D natural in the sheet music (D13) but is played D# (D13b9) . Having said that, I prefer the 13b9 in the audio. Jazz!

Hello, I’m taking my grade 6 exam tomorrow… is there any advice for how to improve sight reading? I’m really bad at it. Aural too, I’ve watched most of the videos on the aural parts but I’m not confident on it yet.

I do 3 one hour practices each day. I am so tired after each session. I have a log book, in which I write what I will and what I actual did and achieved.

Hi, I wonder if the student, having made a satisfactory performance could then turn to the camera, give a smile and then announce the details/show passport. So if the playing was poor or aborted they would simply restart recording another. That would make more sense.

Latest ABRSM Theory Grade 2 syllabus states “Construction of the minor scale (harmonic only).” However, knowing what the natural scale is, makes it easier to find the harmonic version.

But I think this is a relative pitch, as we need a 'reference'. For example I know a song with a piano solo or whatever, which is in C minor, and I play this song often, so it stuck in my head. And I use this C minor as a reference.
